Keeping the thought about the best customer service, marketing activities, and ever-changing customer needs and demands in mind, the German luxury carmaker Mercedes has launched “My Mercedes - My Service” after sales service in India. The striking thing about this news is that India becomes the second country after the USA that received this service. Key service of the initiative comprises three parts - Digital Service Drive, Premiere Express Service and Service Products.
Much like its name, the Digital Service Drive provides all its services digitally where the owners get all the updates regarding its car’s service status on their smartphone through SMS, video calls and emails from Mercedes service centre. Besides, it also came out with a service-at-doorstep scheme wherein you can have a virtual visit of the workshop as well as can have a continuous watch on your vehicle being serviced real time by the use of video calls. Moreover, you can also make an appointment for your vehicle service online.

Coming over to the Premiere Express Service, it will let your car serviced within a time period of two to three hours. Well, you can have this service across all metro cities in the country, however, it will disappoint you a little as it does not have enough facility to incorporate major services and repairs or on AMG cars.
By the use of Service Products, users can easily access information about many services and can choose between them. Some of the package plans include service for three years or 60,000 km, four years or 40,000 km, four years or 80,000 km and five years or 100,000 km. Furthermore, for the new car buyers, the automaker offers a more attractive service package of ten year or 200,000 km, which is a complimentary package of My Mercedes - My Service after sales service.
