The multinational company, Mercedes-Benz has officially let out through its fan page on Facebook that the most awaited GLA will roll out on 30th September 2014 in India. The vendors of the manufacturer are expected to begin accepting orders from the present year. It has machined on the platform of front wheel drive of the A Class and the runabout had made its global appearance at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September 2013.
The GLA includes the spectacular aspects with the dazzling interior, which adduces the superb amenities for the customers. The motor will be available in the Indian market with the two engine variants for petrol and diesel. The petrol model is powered by a 1.6 litre turbocharged engine, which will comprise the astonishing output of 155 bhp alongside the torque of 250 Nm. However, the diesel variant is engineered with the 2.2 litre four cylinder engine that will create the staggering power of 135 bhp and the torque of 200 Nm. Both of the engine models will get the stunning seven speed dual clutch transmission system.
There are rumors that the vehicle will come out with the tremendous security functions and it will render the brilliant protection for its occupants as well as the chauffeur. The Mercedes GLA will give the biggest rivalry to the Audi Q3, BMW X1, Volvo XC90 and it is expected to be priced between INR 27 Lakh to INR 32 Lakhs in the Indian market.
