Mercedes has finally geared up to set up the retouched version of its M Class known as GLE Class in the Indian market shortly. Notably, ahead of its launch, the luxury German car manufacturer has already started taking orders for this updated model in our country at the token amount of INR 3 Lac. The newly revamped model will be almost same as the existing one apart from getting some renovated features, which could be found with the closer observation. Coming to the front that takes the styling inspirations from the C Class and S Class variants.
The rear profile has been complimented by the new tail lights and rectangular exhausts rendering more captivating aspect with regards to its outgoing version. Inside, the GLE has been confirmed to get a 7.0 inch free standing infotainment system, as well as the interior will also be more impressive as compared to the M Class. Beneath the skin, power will come from the same existing 2.1 litre and a 3.0 litre diesel units. Both are capable of producing the outputs of 203 bhp and 255 bhp, respectively.
Its exact launch date is yet to be declared, but the pre-bookings are indicating that it will be held within a couple of months. Likely to receive the starting price tag of INR 60 Lac, the Mercedes GLE will throw down the selling graph of the BMW X5, Volvo XC90 and the Audi Q7.
