Mitsubishi has finally stopped the production of its Lancer Evolution by launching its final edition, while the dealers have already started taking orders for this vehicle in Japan. Total 1000 units of the car have been built that seem to be sold out soon as considering its demand. For last 20 years, this vehicle has been getting a huge response from the customers, just because of its splendid performance. Apart from the Japanese market, it has also been established as the most demanding car in India. Design wise, this runabout gets a 'Final Edition' badge and superb 18 inch BBS wheels.
Moreover, the Lancer Evo has been adorned with a usual gaping front grille, blacked out roof, scooped bonnet, gloss black painted bumper and single rear exhaust tips for both sides. Inside, there are high performance brakes as well as black leather trim comprising Recaro sports seats to render classy feelings for the passengers and driver while traveling. Coming to the powertrain, which is same as its predecessor as continues with a 2.0 litre turbocharged four pot engine transferring power to the all four wheels via two transmission options of a 5-speed manual and a 6-speed dual clutch Sportronic gearbox.
Its regular version is powered by a 4B11T mill to produce power of 291 bhp and torque of 406 Nm. The Mitsubishi Lancer Evo Final Edition is available in five color choices for Grey, Blue, White, Black and Red around the price of INR 22.4 Lacs in Japan.
