MV Agusta has officially announced the pricing of its premium naked streetfighter, the Brutale 800 in India. It is priced at INR 15.59 lakh ex-showroom, Delhi and is available to purchase at company showrooms across the country. Here, the road fighter will mark its entry all the way through the SKD route and then will be assembled at the Kinetic’s Ahmednagar facility in Maharashtra. Under the same Brutale moniker, there are two more offering from the bike maker in Indian lineup which are the Brutale 1090 and the Brutale 1090RR.
Aesthetically, the Brutale 800 comes equipped with the features such as redesigned full LED headlamps and tail lamp, reworked fuel tank, large air intakes, repositioned footpegs, and new exhaust unit that adds a premium appeal to its appearance.
Besides these features, the other assistance for the rider in Brutale 800 encompasses a digital instrument cluster, slipper clutch along with Electronically Assisted Shift, ride by wire system, an 8 level traction control system, adjustable riding modes and three level- ABS.
Based on an ALS steel tubular trellis frame, integrated with rear swingarm pivot plates, the new Brutale 800 comes loaded with a 798cc Euro IV engine. Mated to a 6-speed gearbox transmission, the said motor transmits the power figures of 110 PS peak power at 11,500 rpm along with 83 Nm peak torque to the rear wheel. Runs on Pirelli Diablo Rosso 120/70 R17 front tyre and Pirelli Diablo Rosso 180/55 R17 rear tyre, the motorcycle get suspended on the fitted 43mm Marzocchi USD telescopic hydraulic forks. Tipping at the 175 kgs on weighing scale, the motorcycle gets a massive fuel tank of 16.5-liter capacity.
In India, the MV Agusta Brutale 800 is introduced in the middleweight bike segment, where it will fight against the competitors like the Kawasaki Z900, Ducati Monster 797 and Triumph Street Triple.
While announcing the price of new Brutale 800, MV Agusta shared its future plans in India. That suggests the expansion of dealership network from 3 to 8 facilities across the country, by this year end. Earlier this, the introduction of CKD operations and 5-6 new motorcycles launch are on Italian manufacturer’s priority list, as this will help in improving company’s annual sales about 500-600 motorcycles.
