After having an Italian motorcycle maker i.e. Ducati, the another Italian premium motorcycle manufacturer, MV Agusta, is joining the Indian two-wheeler lineup in November this year in the collaboration with the Pune-based Kinetic Group, whereas the Kinetic Group has also confirmed that it has signed an agreement with the Italian marque to introduce range of superbikes in India. Giovanni Castiglioni, CEO of MV Agusta has confirmed that an all-new 1000cc F4 Superbike will be the first model to roll out with the upgraded platform next year. And, the next two would be in-line four Brutale super naked and Crossover.
The company has imported 10 units of the Brutale 1090 from the company's manufacturing facility to India which clearly shows that are clearly indicating its launching near the upcoming months. Prices of the motorcycles will start from Rs. 12- Rs. 33 lakh. The Kinetic Group will set up the dealership in the country to retail MV Agusta motorcycles and it will provide after-sales services also.
The Brutale 1090 is powered by three or four-cylinder, four-stroke, DOHC motor carrying an engine displacement of 1078cc. The fuel injected motor derived a maximum power of 158 HP at 11900 RPM and 100 Nm of torque at 10,100 RPM. The engine is mated to a six-speed transmission.
MV Agusta is in no mood to introduce its all products. It will launch its entire product portfolio for the Indian aficionados in the next couple of years. Starting from the smallest engined, Brutale 675 and goes up to the most powerful one, the MV Agusta F4 and F4 RC. The introductory list of motorcycles comprises of Brutale 675, F3 675, Brutale 800, F3 800, Stradale 800, Rivale 800, Turismo Veloce 800, Brutale 1090 and the well-famed F4 sports motorcycle.
