The much demanded Discover range from Bajaj Auto, today witnessed the arrival of a new 110cc variant along with the Discover 125 updated for 2018. The new Discover 110 that is re-introduced in Indian lineup post an interval of time, is priced at INR 50, 176 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Whereas, the revived Discover 125 is tagged with the price sticker of INR 53,171 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the drum brake variant. The advanced disc brake variant of the same will make you spend INR 55,994 (ex-showroom, Delhi) for the disc brake variant.
Apparently, the 2018 Bajaj Discover 110 looks identical to the Discover 125 but the upmarket sticker job segregate it from its elder sibling. The attributes that are new on the bike is black finished 5-spoke alloy wheels and blacked out cycle parts such as the suspension and the engine. Also, the new red and silver body graphics along with others offers a sportier stance to the motorcycle. Other than this, the instrument cluster on the bike is semi-digital unit.
Mechanically, the new 115 cc single-cylinder, air-cooled engine unit is loaded beneath the fuel tank. Well, the official power output is not revealed yet by the brand. Though, the unit is expected to develop the maximum power of 8.5 bhp and 9.8 Nm of peak torque with the aids of a 4-speed gearbox transmission. The suspension setup on the bike encompasses telescopic front forks and dual shock absorbers at the rear. While, the braking duties are under the consideration of drum brakes at both the wheels.
While, the upgrades on the new 2018 Discover 125 includes LED DRLs, new graphics, revised styling and more. Powering the updated Discover 125 is same 124cc engine unit but with alterations like long stroke architecture for more torque. Well, the engine is rated to generate 11 bhp and 11 Nm of torque. The suspension setup on the bike is carried forward from the outgoing model that is pretty comfortable. While, the braking is under the care of a front disc and a rear drum brake.
