Ford has made an announcement that it will launch its next generation Endeavour in the Indian market by the end of this year. The existing version has been received average response from the customers and hence, to obtain magnificent profit, the American multinational company is aiming to give noteworthy refreshment to this vehicle. Before launching in India, its various features have been unveiled, which say that the SUV will be based on the same ladder frame chassis layout, while this upcoming runabout would be smaller as compared to its current model.
Dimension wise, the new generation car is 4,882 mm in length, 1,862 mm in width, 1,836 mm in height and 2,850 mm in wheelbase. Talking about the predecessor, it has the length of 5,060 mm and the wheelbase of 2,860 mm. Now, spilling the beans about mechanical details, the forthcoming Ford Endeavour is expected to be machined with a 2.2 litre four cylinder as well as a 3.2 litre five cylinder turbo diesel mills. Both units will be capable to pump out awesome powers and peak torques of 148 bhp, 385 Nm and 197 bhp, 470 Nm, respectively.
There are two transmission systems are expected to be available with 6-speed manual or an optional automatic gearbox, which would send the produced power to its rear wheels. However, the manufacturer is also anticipated to bring out new all wheel drive system alongside Terrain Sensing features in the country.
