New Honda Beat 'Street' Variant Unveiled Ahead Its Launch

An all new Honda Beat Street variant which was slated to Introduce on October 19 in Indonesia, has unveiled online via a leak. Otomotifnet, an Indonesian motoring forum has revealed this forthcoming. The reported blog says, this latest Street trim wears a mischievous design under the painted dark theme of matte black finish, and will be offered only in single colour option. However, there are 13 more shades, 8 mono-tone, and 5 dual-tone colour options are already circulating in the Indonesian market.

Look Wise, the Honda Beat Street seems to equip various fresh bits, which made it more appealing to collect the attention of the crowd. It houses a new Instrument console with a larger LCD screen, which is placed on an uncovered handle bar and offers an offbeat kind of aggressive stance like a naked street runner. Apart from this, the scooter promises to avail A-Class performance by the fitments like combi brake system escorted by idling stop system and tubeless tires as standard. A larger fuel tank with an increased filing of 4 liters, and ample storage space of 11 liters under the seat, will be a huge benefit for the adventure lovers.

On powering, the Honda Beat Street boasted the same 108.2cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled SOHC engine of existing models, while in association with ESP technology and PGM-FI(fuel injection) for an improved performance and fuel economy. Mated with a V-Matic transmission (CVT), the engine propels out 8.68 PS at 7,500 rpm and dispatches 9.01Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm to the rear wheel. As expected, it will fall under a handy weight of 100kg.

Furthermore, the automaker is contemplating to grant an array of accessories soon, at the authorized Indonesian dealerships including hand guard, step bar, fan protector, double step floor, wheel stickers and air filter protection. And, apparels such as Street Snapback Cap and Street Black T-Shirt are also supposed to witness soon at the outlets.
