The Japanese automaker Honda has launched the new Jazz hatchback 2014 back to back in 3 countries viz Philippines, New Zealand and Indonesia. The car has received many updates as per the market, but still the appeal is very same in the vehicle as it was at the time of launch. The common interior and exterior features among all 3 models are ABS, EBD, hill assist, vehicle stability assist, side air and curtain air bags and others.
However, the engine has the difference in all the 3 countries, like the Philippines model has a 1.5 Litre Four Cylinder engine which produces 120 PS and 145 Nm of torque with 5-speed manual gear box for the base variants. The New Zealand model two options of the 1.3 Litre Four-Cylinder petrol engine with 98 bhp power & 119 Nm torque and 1.5 Litre 130 HP power & 155 Nm torque along with the 6-speed manual and CVT transmission.
And, the Indonesian engine of the Honda Jazz has the same specifications of 1.5 Litre 120 PS power and 145 Nm torque engine with a choice in 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox choice. However, the Indian market would see the Honda Jazz 2014 facelift sometime near the next year with the 1.2 Litre petrol engine and a 1.5 Litre diesel engine as well. The Honda Jazz market is currently is in a moderate state in India, but with the 2014 facelift, it could boost up some sales or at least this is what Honda is thinking.
