Nowadays, Toyota is busy in making plan to introduce the two new generation sports utility vehicles of its existing Fortuner and Innova. Both of these upcoming updated models are expected to arrive in the Asian market with the replacement of their ongoing variants. Notably, the next generation Toyota Fortuner is likely to be revealed ahead of making an appearance of the new Innova. While the company officials haven't given any confirmation regarding unveiling of second one, the former one has been confirmed to be uncovered shortly.
Reportedly, Toyota Motor Thailand (TMT) will have an important press conference on July 28 in this current year, where there are expectations that the manufacturer might make the world premiere of latest Fortuner SUV. Based on the Hilux, it will be powered by an amazingly developed 'GD' diesel engines, which will come mated to a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed automatic transmissions. Both of these gearbox choices would have the capacity to transfer the produced power to the wheels of this vehicle via 2WD and 4WD.
Interestingly, the SUV is anticipated to be launched in the Indian market in the third month of the next year between the presumed price of INR 20 Lac to INR 25 Lac. The next generation Toyota Fortuner will give straight competition against the likes of the Mitsubishi Pajero Sport, Hyundai Santa Fe, Ford Endeavour and the Chrevolet Captiva.
