BMW Motorrad has finally revealed its much awaited small capacity roadster that has been named as BMW G310R. The entry-level motorcycle is completely engineered by the German automaker, and is going to be manufactured by the company's new Indian giant partner, TVS. The new TVS-BMW G310R will go on sale globally by the next year and is extensively trying to boost up its market share.
As per the outlook, the overall body graphics seem to be highly stimulated from the bigger model BMW S1000R. The body dynamics are sharply pierced with the headlight cluster and small shroud, side panel comprises of tubular steel frame in a grid like structure with bolt-on rear frame, up-side down fork and long swinging arm for a high degree of ride stability. The fuel tank looks very muscular and sturdy that adding more charm to the street-fighter. The rear panel looks a bit narrowed along with the dull-silver pillion grab rails.
Mechanically, the motorcycle is powered by a 313cc, 4-valve, liquid cooled single cylinder engine which makes out 34 BHP of maximum power at 9500 RPM and 28 NM of maximum torque at 7500 RPM. The fuel tank capacity is about 11 liters and gives back claimed mileage of 36.05 km/l. Braking system includes a 300mm single disc brake up front with radially bolted 4-piston fixed caliper and 240mm unit with 2-piston floating caliper at the rear. Besides this, the bike features 12V charging socket, heated grips, LED indicators and a lot more. The motorcycle weighs of 158.5 kg.
Available shades for the TVS BMW G310R includes, Cosmic Black/Polar White Non-Metallic, Strato Blue Metallic and Pearl White Metallic. G310R is the latest competitor among the street-fighters Duke 390, Z300 and TNT 300.
