Mercedes-Benz displayed the C-class facelift during the Geneva motor show 2018 and now it is speculated that the new sedan is going to launch this October 2018. The exterior changes are subtle but the interior is updated a lot. Although, the India-spec C-class facelift details are not officially announced yet, here is the information regarding the same.
This time again, the 4-cylinder C 300 petrol engine will be available in the cabriolet, and able to reach a peak power of 258hp and a peak torque of 370Nm. Whereas, the AMG C 43 4Matic sedan will take 3.0-litre twin-turbo V6 along with an output of 390hp/520Nm. The C 63 S taking a 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 is also expected with same output and a new 9-speed MCT gearbox. The AMG versions can also be part of the coupé body style.
Starting with C200 and 1.5-litre turbocharged petrol engine, it will generate the identical 184hp/280Nm of output. The diesel unit will take a new 2.0-litre, four-cylinder engine along with two output options. The C 220d will generate 194hp/400Nm of output and twin-turbo a C 300d will produce 245hp. Both the diesel engines are likely to be BS-VI compliant. Furthermore, all variants will get the new 9G-Tronic unit.

This time the sedan can be offered as a cabriolet, but the good thing is that the company is also thinking to bring the coupé variant also, but as expected in a high-performance a 63 AMG or 43 AMG guise. The wheels and bumpers are slightly changed, but still, it maintains the C-class framework. The two variants take a new LED pattern on the tail-lamps and the full-LED headlamps.

Inside the cabin, it may get a 10.25-inch high-resolution screen, COMAND infotainment system, digital dials, analog dials, dual touchpad control system attached with new steering wheels and a dual touchpad control system. The updated and new engines are main attractions of the Mercedes-Benz C-class.
