Skoda have got some big plans for the coming years. Skoda is eyeing on bringing SUVS with better build quality and mileage to the Indian shores. As of now, Skoda will bring the new VisionS-based SUV, unofficially called as Kodiaq in 2017. Later, the automaker will bring the next generation Skoda Yeti, which will arrive until 2018.
Meanwhile, it has been noticed that some of the skoda vehicles find a close relation with Volkswagen vehicles. Therefore, it’s expected that the new Yeti model will be based on the VW’s new Seat Ateca.
However, the carmaker has not made any official announcement but somehow confirmed that the new Yeti will more advanced and different from the current model. The new Yeti will be offered with longer dimensions and some space will be provided in the interior. It will get a wheelbase of around 2,600mm. The SUV will make the public debut in 2018 following a later launch in India.
