The America's leading automaker brand Chevrolet hasn't been very successful in the Indian market with its fleet of cars that includes only a few ones like the Beat and Sail hatchback, Cruze sedan and Captiva SUV. But, the sales chat never took like other international brands. Now, the company is thinking to extend its product list in the country by the fiscal year of 2016-17. These new vehicles are reported to include a compact sub-4 meter sedan and an SUV. Although, the most promising and believable news coming out is about the facelift of Chevrolet Beat hatchback car that is going to be re-launched with improved interiors and exteriors.
If media reports are to be believed, then the new version of this Chevrolet Beat hatchback will be more spacious and larger than the current which is considered as one of the shortcoming of current Beat model. There will also be increased wheelbase, tweaked interiors, modified exteriors and much more.
Also, the mechanical parts of the car could be as same as they are being offered for the current market models. This means that the new Beat will also get powered by the very same 1.0 Litre 3-Cylinder Turbocharged petrol engine, but will be offered in two power output options that is 90 PS and 115 PS, maximum torque of 166 Nm would be same though. There also are the possibilities of an automatic version as the demand for them is rising in India. Well, let's wait and watch for this new Chevrolet Beat facelift.
