At the currently commencing Guangzhou Auto Show 2014 in China, many companies the launching their new and facelift cars by keeping the Asian market in mind. Some of the famous cars which launched at the show were Hyundai ix25 crossover and Toyota Camry Facelift. These cars will go on sale in China very soon and are on the cards for their Indian launch as well. While the Hyundai ix25 has already been spied testing on Indian roads and may launch sometime during early next year, the Toyota Camry Facelift may also make its road to the market in the 2nd half of the year.
Now, Chevrolet has also joined the league with its famous Cruze sedan car facelift. The sedan is quite a mid-trim luxury option for those who have a budget of around INR 15 Lac. The new facelift version of the Cruze will get new hexagonal secondary airdam and enhanced wraparound headlamps in front and sharp rear fascia with sporty lights, black plastic diffuser and chrome establishment.
As far as the engine is concerned, it'll have a naturally aspirated 1.5 Litre petrol engine producing 112 hp and a 1.4 Litre turbocharged engine producing 148 bhp power. The transmission system will be a 5-speed manual or 6-speed automatic for the naturally aspirated engine, while the turbo engine might get equipped with 6-speed manual or 7-speed DCT option as well. Toyota may launch this car in India within the next two years or soon and the price would be around INR 11-16 Lac ex-showroom.
