Putting all speculations and popular belief at rest Nissan has launched the 2018 version updates of the Micra and the Micra Active. The launch of the new models comes more of a surprise amidst talks and reports of Nissan Retiring the Fourth-Gen Micra. The same was earlier reported by us. However, it would be interesting to see if the new versions can gain substantial market share given that the previous models had failed miserably on this front.
The new 2018 Nissan Micra And Micra Active have been produced in the oragadam based production facility in Chennai. The new versions come with minor cosmetic tweaks and some add-ons.
All variants of the Nissan Micra will now come equipped with Dual front airbags and rear parking sensors as standard. However other premium features are limited to top-spec variants only.

The changes on the Micra Active are similar to that of the Micra. While front airbags and rear parking sensors will be standard on all Micra Active variants, other premium features like the Micra will be limited to top spec variants.
