Nissan Sentra NISMO’s production-spec variant is heading towards the Los Angeles Auto Show scheduled for next month. As sourced from Auto Guide, the new car could be a performance-oriented version of the Sentra.
First previewed via a concept almost three years back, the model has been in tidings from past few months as various prototypes of the same are out in the market. This ensures that the global launch of the sedan is not so far.
No changes have been perceived in terms of power as it will get the same unit as the concept. The model will pack a turbocharged 1.8-litre engine capable of generating 240BHP and 240lb-ft of torque with a six-speed manual transmission circulating the power to the front wheels via a limited slip differential.
Previously, the news was also there that the model didn’t get the approval for production yet, however it hinted about the light of day if customers demand them. Looks like, it has happened. Changes in terms of design would be the bold and aggressive bumpers taken directly from the concept. With these, the new model could also get some extra features, which we’ll get to see at the time of launch itself.
