Nissan is now ready to bring new models in the country. The company’s next launch is the Kicks SUV, however, it will not be seen immediately in Indian showrooms in 2018. It is expected to launch in the country around earlier 2019.
In India line-up, it will be placed above the Nissan Terrano model. Amazingly, the Kicks is available in the global platform, the India-bound version will not use V platform of Nissan and the car will use M0 platform, Renault which is available in Renault Duster, Nissan Terrano and India bound Captur. The Kicks will be premium model being larger in size than above-mentioned cars.
When it comes to style, the India specific Kicks will get the funky appearance to compete for the rivals. It has a bold and expressing styling touches. The raked rear windscreen, magnified wheel arches, and the ridged bonnet provide a different look to the model. A-, B- and C-pillars in black finish render a contrast paint design and a floating effect for the roof and look good on the model.

Interior color scheme has been also altered with maximum effects, youthful vibe and adventures paint. It comes with a touchscreen infotainment system and auto climate control.
It is powered by the same engine as used by the Captur, Duster, and Terrano. The 1.5-litre diesel motor generates 110hp of power while the 1.6-litre petrol engine produces 106hp. The diesel is equipped with a six-speed manual while the petrol is with a five-speed manual transmission box. The petrol-powered Kicks also takes a CVT gearbox.
The Kicks seems to have the right amount of ingredients and the information mentions that the company is working to put a rivaling price tag with it.
