It would probably be the first time when a vehicle manufacture has judged the prime names of their products over the Chess colors. The Swedish motorbike maker Husqvarna has introduced the 401 Vitpilen and 401 Svartpilen concepts motorbikes at the EICMA which are named after their hues. The Vitpilen is the Swedish translate for white arrow and Svartpilen is the resemblance of the black arrow. Though, both the bikes are closely matched, there is ample room for the differentiating objects in this bike. They are being designed by the industrial design company “Kiska”.
Both the bikes are naked street fighter stance followers, however, the external affairs of the same are guided individually in a beautiful manner. The basic styling of the bikes will fall in the category of scramblers, but the Vitpilen manages to get it molded into a fraction of café racer. The tyres of the stated bike are racer component, while the handle bar is kept close to the fuel tank with a narrower size. The use of aluminium material is ample with a light weight structure to keep the gross weight around 135KG. This white arrow seems be ultra fast in a progressive direction with the design range.
The Black one is an off-road player with the knobby tyres on offer and high mount handle bar. The upper body architecture of both the bikes is same, but with the difference of colors. The Svartpilen is a more comfortable fellow by visual inspection. The seat on both the bikes is ridiculously straight with minor support at spots. Light house of the bike is packed in a guarded fashion across the corners with a bar type looking central core unit.
The engine specified for these bikes will displace 400cc with 43HP of power. This engine spec will more or less fit into the range of KTM RC390, Duke 390 and Bajaj Pulsar 400CS. The comparison of Husqies with these bikes is due to the obvious reason that this Swedish brand is governed by the Austrian KTM, and it is a spreadea word that Bajaj is the pacemaker for KTM in India.
