OK Play, a new emergent in the Indian two-wheeler market, is all set to introduce its electric scooters in the country soon. The company has already showcased its eco-friendly lightweight scooters range which includes E Letriko, E Bravo, M-Ezee, Funk E, Self E and E Trend models. OK Play is eyeing on 10 percent market share in the Indian automotive industry within next three years.
The above mentioned range of electric scooters are being promoted by OK Play as an ideal transport medium not only for the beginners but also for the existing scooter users. As claimed, these bikes are able to attain a top speed of 40kmph along with a healthy mileage of 80km through the loaded power train.
To attain such a big goal of 10 percent market share, OK Play is setting up manufacturing units in several cities such as Sohna, Kurukshertra, Surat, Ahmednagar, Ranipet, Kolkata, Guwahati and Cuttack, in India. The overall yield of these plants will be counted around 96,000 vehicles per year. The prices and launch date of e-bike range are expected to announce in the coming next few weeks.
