Before making an appearance in the Indian automobile market next month, Tata Motors has commenced online bookings for its completely new Bolt hatchback at INR 11,000. The manufacturer has taken designing idea for this runabout from its three R&D Centre, which have been situated in Pune, Coventry and Turin to give the best implementation planning. It follows the latest design language of Tata Motors and holds tremendous decorative features with floating roofline as well as a blackened C - pillar. Based on the same platform on which Vista was engineered, the most awaited Bolt is likely to be sold out alongside the Zest compact sedan.
Inside, the car gets transcendent components to render an entertaining and comfortable journey for its occupants with superb HARMAN touchscreen infotainment system comprising MapMyIndia for supporting navigation system based on smart phones. On the other hand, this hatchback also includes various security features to bestow a healthy tour and it unifies corner stability control, anti-lock braking system and dual airbags. Coming to its mechanical terms, this vehicle will be powered by a 1.2 liter turbocharged Multi-point fuel injection petrol mill, including three driving modes, such as Sport, City and Eco to churn out a standard power of 90 PS as well as torque of 140 Nm.
However, a 1.3 litre Multi-Jet diesel engine is about to produce power of 75 PS and an appreciable torque of 190 Nm.A superb 5-speed manual transmission will be available there to transfer the produced power to its front wheels.
