The French multinational company, Renault has explicated to embark its Eolab concept at the 2014 Paris Motor Show in the month of October with the staggering fuel efficiency. The carriage has the 3-door accomplishment, which furnishes the unique aspects for the customers and the manufacturer has diverted that the runabout includes an active front spoiler as well as the active rear flaps. This latest concept has the weight of 955 kg, which is 400 kg less as compared to the existing Renault Clio. The Eolab holds the impressive mileage and the body of the car is constructed with the amalgamation of the various material, such as steel, aluminum alongside the composites.
The vehicle comprises the magnesium roof and the ultra-thin windscreen glass that enhances the beauty of the Eolab. The project leader, Jean-Pierre Fouquet said, “The solutions showcased by Eolab are much more economical and enable hybrid technology to be used for smaller cars and on a bigger scale. Our objective is to produce a car with two power sources for the price of one". Mechanically, the carriage machined with the Z.E hybrid powertain that contains a 1.0 litre 3 cylinder petrol engine, the battery of 6.7 kwh and the 3-gear transmission alongside the electric motor.
The mill creates the scrumptious output of 75 bhp and the torque of 95 Nm. However, the electric motor churns out the maximum power of 67 bhp as well as the torque of 200 Nm.The Renault Eolab concept consumes only 1 Liter to cover the distance of 100 km. The runabout will be coming at the 2014 Paris Motor Show with the 100 brand new technological evolution.
