The Italian marque- Piaggio is well known for manufacturing lifestyle scooters across the globe. The automaker is preparing to revive its range of Vespa scooters in India for the impending festive season. The scooters’ updating will be witnessed in the form of new colors and instrument cluster revision.
Currently, the Vespa SXL 150 and the Vespa VXL 150 are lined up models in Piaggio India stable. With the new paint schemes, the buyers will get more astonishing and fresh options. The scooters’ instrumentation was already appealing but the revision will be a plus in their appearance. For these changes, the hike in prices is obviously expected yet it will be a marginal extra.
In the Indian market, Vespa is straight away focused at the premium segment as the bike maker never introduced its scooters from the 125cc segment. That includes the SXL125 and the VXL125. Further, it will continue to offer models under 150cc and above space. The reason behind is the Aprilia SR125 from Piaggio’s subsidiary that is expected to mark its entry in near future and will try its level best to generate volume in this genre.
