The world-famous car maker company Porsche is all set to launch its new SUV Macan in the Indian market late next month. The entry-level SUV was demoed to the world last year at Tokyo Motor Show and Los Angeles Auto Show in November for the rest of the world. This will be the first time that Porsche will be launching its car in the Indian market so early, and this step has been taken due to the swiftly growing luxury car market of the world.
The Porsche Macan will be made available in both the fuel variants, that is, diesel petrol both. The diesel trim will be a 3.0 Litre V6 power house which will be responsible to produce the 258 hp power and 580 Nm of torque with 0-100 km/h in 6.3 seconds and top speed of 230 km/h. While, the petrol variant will house a 3.6 Litre 6-Cylinder V6 engine producing 400 hp power and 500 Nm of torque with the 0-100 km/h acceleration in 4.8 seconds and a top speed of 266 km/h. Both the engines will get the power from the company's 7-speed PDK gearbox.
On the features front, the Porsche Macan is very rich and a person who is willing to buy this piece of engineering, doesn't need to worry at all about the luxurious flavor availability of this car. The car will be assembled in Germany, and thus the CBU route will be opted for the India launch, which in turn will raise its cost for sure.
