Pre-Facelift Mahindra XUV500, Rexton SUVs Available On Discounts

Mahindra updated the XUV500 range in India in April 2018. The model got some updations and equipped with more features around it. The sale of the updated SUV is growing in numbers continuously just similar to the predecessor. In order to sell out the stocked 2018 Mahindra XUV500 of pre-facelift, the company is selling the pre-facelift SUV at a discounted price.

The high-spec, the W10 automatic and W10 manual trims are available with a benefit of Rs. 1 lakh. This trim features a reverse camera, black interior, and a sunroof. Discounts are not limited to the top trims. The lower trims such as the W9, W8, W6 and W4 in automatic and manual transmission choices are available with discounted price of maximum Rs 91,000. With the discounts, the pre-facelift variant, XUV500 W6 AT is available now at Rs 17.5 lakh as an on-road price. It is equipped with the rain-sensing wipers, static bending headlamp, and a 7.0-inch infotainment system.

The 2018 pre-facelift XUV500 was powered by a 2.2-litre diesel engine generating a peak power of 140hp and a peak torque of 330Nm, comes paired by a six-speed automatic or a six-speed manual transmission. Although, the XUV500 petrol trim, powered by a 2.2-litre petrol engine generating an output of 140hp/320Nm, is not available with any such discount.
Moreover, Mahindra is offering relevant discounts on other variants. The top-spec Scorpio S11 obtains a cash benefit of Rs. 20,000 and some variants of KUV100 (pre-facelift) are available at a discount price of Rs. 40,000.

The Mahindra SsangYong Rexton is about to be replaced with a new flagship SUV gets a cash discount of Rs. 4.5 lakh. With the discount, the top-spec RX-7 variant will be available at Rs 25.6 lakh. The Thar lifestyle SUV in retro look does not attract any such discounts.

The company is set to reveal three new products before 2018 end including the Rexton-based new flagship SUV, the S201 compact SUV, and the Marazzo MPV.
