A production-ready unit of Tesla Model 3, the most economical product from electric-auto giant has been finally caught on camera while doing round-up in the backyard at company’s facility. The pure electric run was completely undisguised and was giving an idea about how production version of the upcoming ‘Model 3’ will look alike. The spy shots reveal some of the interior details through the glass along with the entire outfit of the 3.
The Tesla Model 3 will be the first Electric Vehicle (EV) from Tesla to be launched in the Indian market.

Leveraging the spy shots, the overall profile of the Model 3 looks incredibly identical to the version showcased last year by Elon Musk, CEO at Tesla Inc. Although, there are a few subtle changes in form of cameras and a bit of tweak at the front-end, but overall these all are hard to notice in a single go.
The front fascia of this zero-emission drive takes after Model X and facelift version of the Model S with no grille at all. The roofline defines the Model 3 as a coupe. The inside profile, however, not cleared in pictures, sounds similar to that of the concept with no instrument cluster. The dashboard looks quite neat with just one large screen mounted at the center of it. The display is placed horizontally, unlike the Model S in which it comes fitted vertically.
The ‘more affordable’ Model 3 will be lined up for production in July, as reported earlier in a letter shareholders of Tesla. The pre-bookings, however, are up since the day it was first revealed (April 1, 2016) with an amount of USD 1000 (approx INR 65,000) across the globe including India. While the world-wide deliveries are expected in September, the deliveries for the Indian market are likely to be taken place by the end of this year or early next year. We can expect a complete inside-out official tour of the Model 3 from Tesla in June.
In April 2016, Tesla revealed that the Model 3 will have a driving range of 215 miles (350 kilometers) in a full charged. But considering the recent tweets from Mr Musk, the Model 3 will go higher than the Chevrolet Bolt EV which is claimed to have a range of 238 miles (383 kilometers).
