Renault Kwid, an entry level hatchback car that has been quite the sensation since it was first introduced in the market. Having a great fuel efficiency and many attractive features, the car had succeed to compete with its rivals. As we all are well aware that the carmaker is planning to launch a more powerful variant, which was showcased at the earlier concluded 2016 Auto Expo. Test mule of this hot hatch has been spotted on the road that was badged with 'SCe', which is supposed to be the evidence of new 1.0-litre engine.
Those who missed our last report, Renault may launch this Kwid 1.0-litre unit by the first half of this year. Besides aforementioned details, the company is also in a mood to deliver an Easy-R AMT trim during the festive season of this year. This was also displayed along side the former model. As company said, both the model is going to be developed in house.
Thanks to anything- on-wheels, which confirms the details of this new variant and published the images. Well there isn't any confirmation about whether the model is mated with a manual or an automatic transmission option. Expect alloy wheels with this model standard as well as dual airbags and ABS can be loaded in the top end trims. With all these additional features, it could be sold at a slightly higher price that can be tagged around INR 3.40 to INR 3.50 Lakhs.
