Renault Launches Next Generation Duster for INR 8.30 Lac in India

The French automaker Renault has been very successful in the Indian market with its crossover-compact SUV Duster and the company has launched a next generation version with many cosmetic changes and with a few features totally out of the blue. This step of the launch of next generation Duster could be thought as the strategy of the company to maintain its grip in the market which is getting challenged by many companies and most effectively by Nissan Terrano and Ford Eco-Sport as well. However, I don't guess that Duster lovers will ditch it too soon as it brought the trend of compact SUVs in India and people still prefer it very much.

Talking about the changes, the SUV now has front seat armrests, new seat upholstery, new instrument cluster, multi-information display, gear-shift indicator, ECO driving mode and new instrument cluster as well along with speed-sensitive door, cruise control and new steering column. Powering this car is a 1.6 Litre petrol engine producing 103 bhp power and 2 diesel engines of same 1.5 Litre capacity and churning out 85 bhp and 108.5 bhp power.

Renault has also taken care of the noise in cabin by making this car more insulated from the engine sound. The price of this new 2WD Duster range is INR 8.3 Lac Ex-Showroom, New Delhi and is good enough for the features it's coming with.
