The much awaited Rolls Royce Ghost Series II car has finally been launched in India with the hefty price tag of INR 4.5 Crore Ex-Showroom, Mumbai. The car is a successor to its previous generation model with the same name and has a few tweaks in its design and interiors with no change in the mechanical parts. It will be placed below the Wraith car from the same company which was launched last year, costing INR 4.6 Crore Ex-Showroom. However, the luxury car segment is growing in India, but with such huge amount of money involved, it would be interesting to see that what response this Ghost Series II will get from the Indian market. Although the company is very confident about its success.
Talking about the changes, it has tweaked headlight, front bumper and chrome parts for the air intakes with latest alloy wheel pattern as well on exteriors, while new wood veneers, infotainment system, on-board Wi-Fi, 10.2 inch display with latest touchpad and optional Bespoke audio system fits in the interiors. The car spans 5,569 mm in length, 1,948 mm in width, 3,465 mm in wheelbase and 1,550 mm in height as well.
And as far as the engine is concerned, Rolls Royce powers this Ghost Series II system with the same 6.6 Litre V12 petrol engine producing healthy 563 bhp power and 780 Nm of torque with 8-speed automatic transmission system that can accelerate this to 100 km/h from rest in just 5 seconds and takes to the top speed of 250 km/h.
