The premium motorcycle maker, Royal Enfield, officially announced its entry at an event Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2015. The Chennai-based manufacturer plans to make its position into the Indonesian market, which is the third largest two-wheeler market in the world that comes after the China and India. The company has showcased its entire range of motorcycles at the event that comprises of Bullet 500cc, Classic 500cc and Classic Chrome and the Continental GT (535cc) cafe racer. Royal Enfield has also displayed its collection of riding gear and the recently launched Despatch Rider apparel & accessories at the event.
Abhijit Singh Brar, the Head of Marketing at Royal Enfield said, "As leisure motorcycling is getting extreme all over the world, we at Royal Enfield believe that we can create a wonderful space that's more approachable and unintimidating."

Royal Enfield will start retail operations in the upcoming months from its exclusive dealership that is located in Jakarta with partner PT Distributor Motor Indonesia. Apart from the store, they will also build service and aftermarket capability for Royal Enfield in Jakarta. Along with the motorcycles, the company will produce range of apparel and accessories in the Indonesia market. Furthermore, the motorcycles and components will be exported from India.
