The top selling cruiser motorcycle in the Indian biking industry, Royal Enfield Classic 350 along with its elder sibling Classic 500, is ready to get some major upgrades. The leaked documents also reveal the same. While the changes will not only be at the cosmetic end but also at mechanicals front.
Let’s start with the segment leader, Royal Enfield Classic 350. The model is going to be offered in a new gun metal grey colour. In addition to that, it will also receive the fitment of the rear disc brake and upgraded swing arm from the Thunderbird range. As of now, a 153mm drum brake at the rear performs braking duties. But the emergence of rear disc brake will surely increase the braking performance on the bike.
On the flip of the coin, the elder brother under the same Classic moniker, the RE Classic 500 will gain a new stealth black paint scheme along with the same rear disc and swingarm setup as of Thunderbird model. Well, the new swingarm will be placed for improved dynamics but it would not be good making a judgement before test drive and audience reviews.
