Once again test mule of the completely unconcealed Royal Enfield Himalyan has been spotted in the country carrying out its trails. The soldiery outlook livery and muscular luggage panniers of the adventure Tourer, bore the appearance of being near to its production phase.
The spy shots still leave us in disguise about the twin-spark engine's displacement. The powerplant has been refined by including an oil-cooler and fuel injection system, which make it an ideal choice for long hauls. A lot of rework on the chassis has been done to make it adjustable with the Himalayan. The bike gets the same twin downtube double cradle chassis from the Royal Enfield Continental GT. Scrutinizing the suspension setup, the motorcycle has been underpinned by long travel telescopic fork at the front and monoshock suspension at the rear.
Two launch variants will be there for Himalayan- first one will be an out an out adventure Tourer with the knobbly dual sport tyres and an uplifted front fender, while the other version will come up with the conventional mud guards and road tyres. A lot of rumors and suppositions about the machine are buzzing over the internet, but the automaker has been lip locked about the same. As per the spy images, Himalayan will be a quite big debut from what the firm has been doing for past few years. Albeit from the snapshots, it has given an appealing impression, yet it would be interesting to watch whether the new Himalayan lives up to the expectations of the audience or not.
