The Royal Enfield has proved its popularity again by selling all the 200 units of its World War One and Two inspired models within just 26 minutes after the opening of online booking. The premium motorcycle maker, Royal Enfiled, recently unveiled the price of its limited edition of the Despatch motorcycle. The motorcycle range is priced at Rs 2.16 lakh (Onroad Delhi). The limited edition of Despatch motorcycle was launched in three color options, which comprises of Desert Storm, Squadron Blue (for Indian market) and Military Green (for export market only).

The Royal Enfield Despatch is based on the Classic 500 which had been decorated with a signature camouflage pattern made by a unique film transfer technique, matte black finished exhaust and engine, Italian leather saddle and an airbox which is held by a leather buckle strap. The Classic 500 Despatch range is powered by the 499cc, single-cylinder and air-cooled engine which produces 27.2 BHP of power.

The Royal Enfield has reported sales of over 92,845 units in the first-quarter of 2015, which is a huge in comparison of the previous year. As of now, to reduce the waiting period, the manufacturer has announced that the firm will increase the production capacity from 30,000 units to 50,000 units a month by December, whereas the firm is also planning to invest Rs 500 crore in research and development.
