Finally, most-awaited Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X is expected to launch in India soon. It is going to be the very first Royal Enfield cruiser having tubeless tyres and alloy wheels.
The new cruiser is spied at a dealership in Belgaum, Karnataka. The bike is speculated to be revealed soon near January 2018 but the delivery will be on the later date, maybe at the end of next month or in the starting of the February.
Coming to the equipment setup, it has new handlebar, new well-fitted and padded seats, Black alloy wheels, and tubeless tyres setup. It has some distinguish look when come to finish with matte black shade in an exhaust pipe, front suspension, and the engine. Similar to the ongoing freshly launched Classic 350 ‘Redditch Edition’, it also has two colors options; Yellow and Blue.
The engine configuration in the Royal Enfield Thunderbird 500X is powered by the 499cc single-cylinder engine which is able to churn out a maximum power of 27.2 Bhp at 5250 rpm and a peak torque of 41.3 NM at 4000 rpm. In addition, the engine comes mated to a 5-speed gearbox.
This new version is expected to come with a price increase of Rs. 25,000-30,000 when comparing to the standard Thunderbird 500. So we can expect the bike in the market with the price tag of Rs. 2.15-2.20 Lakh (Ex-showroom, India).
