By 2025, Volkswagen Group is thinking of increasing its combined market share in India to 5 percent and also considering the exports.
The Volkswagen group stated that the Skoda will be leading the localisation of the MQB A0-IN platform. On this platform, Skoda’s first set of cars will most probably launch by late 2020. At start, there will be an introduction of new compact SUV which will compete the rival- the Creta. After this, the second step is that from the Aurangabad plant the Skoda will export the new and latest MQB-based cars to Pune.

For India, the Volkswagen T-Cross compact SUV is confirmed and will reach India by the end of 2020. The Skoda is planning to export the new and latest products from India and as the Volkswagen T-Cross is based on the same platform as of Skoda's upcoming SUV, it will also be delivered abroad to other developing markets.
The Volkswagen Group may price their coming cars highly for giving competition and grabbing more market share due to their rising economies of scale and production numbers.
