One of the most famous brand in the sedan segment named Skoda is planning to offer an updated variant of its best selling model in India. Yeah! we are talking about the Skoda Rapid facelift that might be launched during the festive season of this year. Since so many options are already available in the market, this car needs to be offered with some new exciting features to capture more eyeballs.
The current generation model comes with both petrol and diesel categories along with 4 trims. The former is available with a 1.6-litre unit that is mated with two different transmission choices- one is a 5-speed manual and the other one is a six-speed automatic, while the latter gets a 1.5-litre engine that is also equipped with two different gearboxes such as 5-speed manual and a 7-speed automatic. Well, the new model could be continue with the same mechanical choice or might be introduced with some improved powertrain that would be revealed soon.

If we talk about some cosmetic upgrades, the Skoda Rapid facelift is supposed to be coming out with new front bumper fitted with headlights, new bonnet, large grille as well as some new attachment at the front fascia.
