Skoda Auto India comes with a new Rapid Onyx Edition in India at the time of the festival season. The price of Skoda Rapid Onyx Editon is pegged at 9.75 lakh (ex-showroom).
The new Skoda Rapid Onyx Edition comes with two colour options - Lapiz Blue and Candy White with a host of cosmetic features on both interior and exterior of the sedan.
The exterior of Skoda Rapid Onyx Edition comes with black design elements including black finished butterfly grille with chrome finishing. Also, the new Skoda Rapid Onyx Edition comes with gloss black finished 16-inch alloy wheels with similar bolt covers.
Along with all these, it is also finished with outside rear view mirrors (ORVMs), and, gloss black finished B-pillars, body side moulding and trunk lip garnish.
Coming to the interiors of Skoda Rapid Onyx edition there is a contrast finished dual-tone ebony-sand texture. The seats are done with beige with wood design leatherette upholstery.

It has a 6.5-inch touchscreen infotainment system with SmartLink tech which allows to select apps like navigation through your smartphone and also supports USB, AUX and Bluetooth options.
It is compatible with MirrorLink, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Another list of features includes auto climate control, 12-volt power socket at the front and rear, and a black waste bin for the front door pocket.
There are no changes in mechanical so of the car, as it still comes with 1.5-litre diesel with 108 bhp and 1.6-litre petrol engine that churns out 103 bhp with manual and automatic transmission options.
Skoda company IT returns a fuel efficiency of around 14.84 km on the petrol automatic variant while 21.72 km on the diesel automatic variant. It is assured under the 4-year service car and Roadside assistance as a standard offering.
