The Austrian motorcycle manufacturer, KTM, is might be planning to launch its all new Adventure sports motorcycle silently. Recently, a faired motorcycle has been spotted during a video shoot in Monaco, France. The spotted motorcycle was carrying a badge of KTM 1290 Super Adventure. It seems to be a tourer cum sports motorcycle.
The cosmetic features the motorcycle receives are, starting from the front a newly-designed body fairing; new air-vents are also spotted at the front panel of the motorcycle nigh rider's knees and a towering windscreen to provide wind protection to the rider. Moving towards the side panels; the motorcycle features larger side panels, new engine guards, according to the motorcycle’s body fairing. The fuel tank capacity would be expected to get increased.
The technical details are expected to be borrowed from the 1290 Super Duke R. It is featuring a 75 degree, V-Twin engine, which gives an engine displacement of 1301cc. The engine is capable enough to generate a total horsepower of 180BHP along with extra peak torque more than 106ftlb. It is believed that the upcoming 2015 KTM 1290 Super Adventure will be blessed by ABS, Traction Control System, and the most important Motorcycle Stability Control (MSC); developed by Bosch, which was found in the previous models of Duke Series or Adventure Series. It seems that the upcoming motorcycle is completely based upon the existing KTM 1190 Adventure.
The manufacturer is planning to showcase their upcoming motorcycle might be in the early October, 2014, at the INTERMOT Show which will be going to held in Cologne, Germany. Or, the company reveals the 1290 Super Adventure at the EICMA Show, which will be going to held in Milan, Italy in the month of November, 2014.
