BMW-TVS came along to manufacture their first sports bike altogether. BMW had already sent its 6 sports bikes to TVS India for the testing of the bikes and supply as well. As the contract says, that BMW will do the R&D and designing part of both bikes which will get manufactured by TVS along with their strict quality and control measures.
BMW has already designed two bikes, first one is a 350 cc Enduro motorcycle, which got a confirmation for its production from both the brands and the second one is a 500cc Roadster which is designed by BMW but agreement for production is still pending. The Roadster 500 cc is pretty much similar in its touring capabilities and simplicity with BMW's R1200R, which has air-cooled boxer engine with an engine displacement of 500cc.
350 cc Enduro Motorcycle: - This 350 cc motorcycle is somewhat related with BMW's G650X in terms of features and style. This is a super motorcycle which can be used on a race track, as a motocross and for normal riding as well. The 350cc Enduro has already hit the production and it is expected to launch in the mid of the year 2015. The bike lovers are eagerly waiting for these two bikes to come in the market.
Apart from these two bikes, Indian riders are also waiting to catch the company's all new BMW Motorrad, with its Roadster concept. Presently BMW Motorrad is not officially available in India.
Now we have to wait for this TVS manufactured BMW bikes to get launch in the market and then we'll see, will it be able to make its impact in Indian market or not??
