Ducati, the Italian two-wheeler maker has an array of iconic models in its portfolio that comprises of Diavel, Hypermotard, Monster, Multistrada, Streetfighter, Superbike and recently introduced Scrambler Series. All the models play an important role in terms of performance and sales. Moreover, now, the company is working on the new cruiser inspired motorcycle that has been spotted first time in the Italy without any camouflage. The new Diavel has received a host of dynamic updates that will become the plus point for this motorcycle. Furthermore, the forward set footpegs and low seat height seems to provide a comfortable riding position.
As per the spy images, the motorcycle has received design and body cues with the existing model. The fuel tank that looks muscular and a little bit different than the existing model. The leather and Alcantara seat with handcrafted stitching will be continued in the new model. The new cruiser machine might be getting a belt-drive instead of the chain-drive.
The new Ducati Diavel might be riding with the revised suspension and brakes that are working for the current running model. And, the Anti-lock Braking System, power modes and Ducati Traction Control system will be the key features for the spied motorcycle. The low center of gravity and excellent ergonomics will provide an excellent cruising to the rider.
In terms of technical specifications, the existing Diavel uses an 1198cc, V-Twin Testastretta 11° Dual Spark engine that produces 162 BHP of power and 130 Nm of torque. It is expected that the new model might be featured with an updated engine to produce more power and torque. The new Ducati might make its entry at the EICMA Show in November 2015.
