Well, the company already produces 20 per cent of e-bikes in India. Though, the aim of reaching 80 per cent make the Sunra ponder about establishing a manufacturing unit in India. As the country is being considered the world’s biggest market for electric vehicles.
Sunra has a stronghold in the global market with product and spares exports in total 71 countries including India. As per the reports, the company has already been associated with 16 small firms in Delhi. The provided team of engineers will support these small firms in assembling e-bikes.
We could see the development of a production facility in Bangalore as six Sunra models are already under testing at ARAI.
The factors such as increasing air pollution and the Prime Minister’s policies are making automaker to invest heavily in setting up an EV production facility in India.
