The new Suzuki Bandit 150 revealed at the 2018 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show, Indonesia. The motorcycle takes inspiration from the GSX-S150 street bike.
India has the Suzuki Gixxer available in the market and it will get the update soon by the next year. The Bandit 150 has some similarity with the Gixxer. The new motorcycle is available with the large tank extensions, the LED headlamp of trapezoidal-shape, and fully-digital instrument console. It also comes with a flat handlebar and center-set foot pegs.
Although it doesn’t look so attractive, the new Suzuki Bandit 150 takes power from a liquid-cooled and modern DOHC engine shared from the GSX 150 twins. The single-cylinder, 147.3cc engine is able to churn out a maximum power of 19.2hp and a peak torque of 14Nm. The motor is mated to a six-speed transmission setup instead of a five-speed unit of the Gixxer.

It is equipped with the company pack features of a monoshock at the rear, a telescopic fork at the front and disc brakes with both the front and the rear wheels.
The Suzuki GSX-150 is priced at Rs. 1.17 lakh in the Indonesian market, although the price specifications of the new Bandit 150 have not been announced by the company yet. However, we expect it to be priced less than the sporty commuter.
