Suzuki, a Japanese multinational automobile manufacturer, is currently paying so much attention to the cruiser segment. In India, this particular segment is ruled out by Bajaj Avenger series for being a bike with the comfort and for practical purpose usage. To compete against Avenger series, Suzuki has come up with Intruder 150 which is going to be launched on 7th November. Spied images of the cruiser reveal the detailed information about production model and an appearance somewhere similar like Suzuki Gixxer with the touch of the cruiser.

The Suzuki Intruder 150 has bulging outlook concerning the engine capacity. The cruiser is powered by 4-stroke and air-cooled 150cc engine which is able to churn out the maximum power of 14.8 PS and the maximum torque of 14Nm. The engine of the bike is taken from the Suzuki Gixxer series. In this price range, the bike maintains the 5-speed transmission. Despite being huge and bloated appearance, the bike weighs only 148 kgs.

The bike looks so masculine and strong with the connection between fairly large tank extensions and fuel tank. The cruiser is equipped with aerodynamics tank, fully digital instrument cluster, LED tail-lamp, broad handlebar, big headlight cowl, larger seats and LED projector headlights. Tyres in the cruiser are inspired by Gixxer model measuring 100 section at the front and 140 section at the rear. The dual port exhaust setup is taken from Gixxer which looks bigger with the tyres. It owns the same alloy wheel design from the comrade Suzuki Gixxer.

Telescopic forks up at the front and swing arm, monoshock suspension at the rear improve its operability. The bike gets disc brakes at both the ends and there is also an option of single-channel ABS inspired from Gixxer SF in a premium price range. There is nothing so much to boast about the specifications, but the bike will be a required model in Suzuki showroom with bulky appearance.

The Suzuki Intruder 150 will surely be an advantageous and satisfactory product by Suzuki. The speculations say that the cruiser can be placed in the price range of Rs. 1lakh(ex-showroom India). The Suzuki intruder is going to be a prominent competitor of Bajaj Avenger 150.
