Suzuki Swift Special Edition Launched in Chile

Suzuki has launched a special edition of the Swift hatchback in Chile that is christened as Swift Bicolor. The name Bicolor stands for its dual tone exterior color feature. The company has offered this car in three options namely Silver with Black, Violet with Black and Brown with White. The price that has been decided for this car is tagged as CLP 96,90,000 or around INR 9.73 Lakhs.

Mechanically, the Swift special edition comes with a 1.2-litre four cylinder K-series petrol engine, which is good for 93 Bhp of power and 118 Nm of torque. In order to send the power at front wheels, engine is mated with a 5-speed manual transmission. By having this powerhouse, motor is good enough to return a mileage of 19 km/l.

Some of the features are listed as 16-inch alloy wheels, two slat chrome grille, cruise control, steering mounted controls, climate controls and chrome interior door handles. Interms of safety features, the carmaker has loaded side airbags, curtain airbags, ABS (anti-lock braking system) with EBD(electronic brakeforce distribution), BAS (brake assist system) and a reverse parking camera.

Apart from the aforementioned news, an all-new Suzuki Wagon R crossover is likely to be released at the Jakarta Fair in Indonesia, which is due from June 10, 2016. It is the same model, which was earlier showcased in 2014 with a name tag of Wagon R Xrest. It will continue to be powered by the  same 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder engine that is available in its India based hatchback model.

Well, both Suzuki and Wagon R are so much popular among the buyers because of the convenient price and advanced technical and cosmetic features.
