Suzuki Motorcycle India has made an announcement regarding recalling of over 54,000 units of its recently launched scooter- Access 125. Reportedly, the models that were built during the period between March 8, 2016, and June 22, 2016, are going to be recalled by the automaker. All the affected scooters will replace the rear axle shaft and customers can also avail the benefit of free periodic maintenance of the vehicle if they come to the dealership for the replacement. Without even paying a penny, the shaft will be changed.
Suzuki India, in a statement, conveyed, "In pursuance of Suzuki's commitment to customer satisfaction and as a matter of abundant precaution and safety, we have decided to undertake this service campaign on the New Access 125 scooters to address issues of rear axle/wheel stability that has been identified in some of these scooters."

Since its reveal at the 2016 Auto Expo and later the launch in March, the scooter has acquired maximum updations in the styling of the scooter, getting an improved design with lots and lots of chrome included, a fresh instrument console and a digital monitor. Powering the commuter is the same 124cc single-cylinder mill that produces a maximum power of 8.58BHP at 7000 RPM, however, the torque has been reduced to 10.2NM at 5000RPM.
The Suzuki Access 125 returns a claimed mileage of 53KMPL and is priced at Rs. 53,887 (ex-showroom, Delhi). Armed with Suzuki Eco Performance (SEP) technology, it improves the fuel efficiency.
