Tata, well known for its power and features in the world automobile industry, is now planning to launch its hatchback car Tata Indica Vista Electric in the last quarter of 2013. The concept model has already been showcased at international automotive event 79th Geneva Motor Show. This model of Tata Indica is different to its predecessor sibling in the sense of fuel type because it is based on electricity. After Reva's G-Wiz, it will be the second electric car of India. Indica Vista Electric will be priced approx Rs. 6 lakh, which is much lower than the other upcoming models from Tata Motors.
This four wheeler is powered by TM4 developed powerful super lithium ion battery. This car is expected to deliver maximum power of 74bhp @ 4000rpm and peak torque of 160Nm @ 1750rpm. The vehicle accelerates in less than 10 seconds to achieve the mark of 0-60 kmph and has top speed of 151kmph. You can easily drive this variant of Indica Vista upto 200km with 8 hours of completely charged battery. Some exteriors of this model match to its predecessor of same series of Tata Motors.
The outer look of Vista Electric is well decorated with stylish headlamps, superb front grille, fog lamps and lower front grill with other highlights. The cabin of this superb model has sufficient space for accommodating four passengers. The rectangular AC vents, modern audio console with multimedia features, 3 spoke power steering and bottle holder make your ride very comfortable. There is no any issue about safety because Tata Indica Vista Electric has two safety airbags and seatbelts for passengers.
