To keep up the competition, Tata Tigor got some slight cosmetic twist and characteristic updates, within a week of rival Ford Aspire facelift launch.
There are minimum changes on the exterior as the car was launched last year. It has moderately twisted headlamps, clear lens tail lamps, a shark fin antenna, new 15-inch alloys and a new blue exterior colour that has been added to the palette.
The interior of the updated Tigor offers a new 7-inch capacitive touchscreen display with Android Auto instead of the 5-inch infotainment system with Tata’s own application suite as well. Tata also offers the safety characteristics like dual front airbags, ABS with EBD and corner stability control and rear parking sensors as standard across the range. It also contains a reverse parking camera but is top specs XZ+ variant only.
There are no mechanical changes and is powered by the same 1.2-litre Revotron petrol engine and 1.05-litre Revotorq diesel unit. Both the three-pot engines are coupled to a 5-speed manual transmission while the petrol variant also gets the option of a 5-speed AMT (Automated manual transmission).
