The home-grown Tata Motors has introduced the revised Ace Gold light commercial vehicle (LCV) in India at Rs. 3.75 lakh. Ace Gold Mini Truck is the new vehicle in the premium line-up. With the addition of new features, enhanced ergonomics, comfort and safety attributes, it as well gets a new arctic white shade in mini-truck. Starting from 2005, the company now covers 68% market in a mini-truck segment and sold approximately 2 million units till date.
The ergonomics of the Ace Gold mini-truck have been improved while the design and interior features are the same as the standard model. It is powered by a 702 cc DI diesel IDI engine. Low operating costs, higher returns, and ease of maintenance are the attributes of the TATA Ace Gold and the company says it will continue in the upcoming time as well. The Ace Gold is destined for market load operators and entrepreneurs in India.
During the launch event, Girish Wagh, President, Commercial Vehicles Business Unit, Tata Motors mentioned in a statement, "Tata Motors has been a pioneer in creating and expanding the Small Commercial Vehicle market in India with its diverse portfolio. With a market share of 68 percent, Tata Motors continues to be the market leader in the mini trucks segment. With over 2 million vehicles plying on the road, Tata Ace is unparalleled and enjoys a strong emotional connect with the customers."
The company is also providing many services along with the purchase of the Ace Gold comprising redemption of loyalty points, a loyalty program, around-the-clock breakdown assistance program, free insurance, and a time-bound repair commitment.

The Indian manufacturer sells out approximately 15 vehicles supported with the Ace platform in order to provide different engines and applications. Commercial vehicle business of the company has more than 1800 service points and workshop at the interval of 62 km.
