Tata Motors made Jaguar XJ at home and gave it Rs. 92.1 Lakh price tag

Jaguar is the famous auto brand for luxury vehicles as the name simply describes the value of this company' cars. Now the company has introduced its locally assembled flagship model XJ 3.0L for Indian market. The assembled version began with a price tag of Rs. 92.1 lakh (ex-showroom Mumbai). After owning Land Rover Jaguar by Tata Motors, company has planned to reintroduce its XJ model that will fall under the price of crores and the company made this possible by manufacturing the car at Pune's plant. For the information, price of XJ's previous model was started at Rs 1.16 crore.

Production of this luxury sedan in country has made available this car for every car enthusiast at low price and now taking the praise for this achievement. The luxury sedan will be available in premium luxury and portfolio variants. Though the less price tag doesn't compromise with luxurious features but also added some additional equipment.

Locally manufactured XJ gets 3.0 litre V6 turbo diesel engine that generates maximum power of 275PS at 4,000 RPM and produces peak torque of 600Nm at 2,000 RPM. Its engine is integrated with 8-speed automatic gearbox. Sedan gets some additional equipment that provides more headroom to rear seats. It also enhances the luxury with LED reading lamps, electric rear sun blinds, upgraded rear seat comfort pack along with three massage seat functions, 0.2 inch entertainment screens and new business table.

Petrol variant has not been assembled in India, only diesel version is available with 2,993CC displacement that is the most powerful engine, assembled in India.
